Deeply seen, deeply felt, deeply remembered.

We are a boutique Northern Virginia photography studio located in Ashburn, Virginia, specializing in wedding photography, portrait photography, and fine art photography.

We love to photograph Maryland weddings, Virginia weddings, and DC weddings of all traditions!  Whether yours is an opposite-sex marriage or a same-sex marriage, we'd love to get to know you and your unique love story.  And, however you and your family decide to celebrate two lives passionately shared -- religious or secular, traditional or avant garde, western or non-western -- we would be honored to capture those memories in wedding photographs that are deeply seen, deeply felt, and deeply remembered.

We provide commercial and lifestyle portrait sessions in our Loudoun County, Virginia studio or on-location within the greater Washington DC metropolitan area, including Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

We provide engagement photography sessions for MD VA DC wedding couples, whether we do the wedding photography or not.  These unique sessions are great fun, especially when the location and theme are tailored to the couple's love story.

Please enjoy my wedding photography, portrait photography, and fine art photography blog!  I hope you find the eclectic diversity of images -- as well as my thoughts on their design and creation -- both entertaining and educational.

In a prior blogpost, I presented my portrait of Jeff as a guitar man. Here we see him as a bagpiper in highlan...

DISTINGUISHED PRESENCE. It was my great honor to start September with a portrait session for Mr. Ambassador Hector Posset, the ambassador to the United States from Benin. I did not know much about his country before we met for the portrait session at Blue World Media in Alexandria, Virginia. As Ambassador Posset and I chatted, he told me that Be...

A HUMDINGER OF A THREE WHEELER. This quirky vintage tricycle really amuses me! I found it recently at an antique store in central Virginia, and it's now a new prop in the studio. In its simplicity -- just red metal tubing, black metal seat, black rubber wheels -- the design is rather clever. But, it looks odd, backwards, quirky, fun. You just don...
