BLACK TIE GALA.

This month I was pleased to help photograph a black-tie gala in Washington DC, which was attended by many prominent lawyers, judges, and other noteworthy VIPs.  

The above candid photograph shows Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito responding to introductory remarks preceding the elegant dinner.  In the background, lead photographer Michael Dunphy captures additional images of the evening's events.  

After dinner, the main event was the invited speech by Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.  His talk was full of both humor and serious thoughts on the role of the judiciary in our government.  In this candid photograph, I have captured Justice Gorsuch as he makes an impassioned point.
